Yes, if there is enough power from usb port.  Otherwise fully charged battery may be required. Maybe that's the problem? How did you killed your phone and what exactly you are trying to do?

My phone was broken but a part of the touch worked and since here in Venezuela it is very difficult to get spare parts and even more difficult to buy them, I decided to use it for a while while I was meeting to buy the touch screen, the phone suddenly began to hang up. screen and restart itself, I concluded that it was the software that was damaged and decided to repair it with xperia companion, it happens that after repairing it the phone was hung after it passed the two logos, sony xperia and android, when it was in the initializacion animation of the phone was restarted, try to flash it with flashtool and did not recognize the computer and now I am trying to unlock the boot manager and you can not either, hopefully have a solution, because otherwise I will be without a phone for a very long time :(  :(  :(  :(  :(  :(

Your phone has damaged hardware, you can't fix it by software. You don't need to unlock bootloader. Just reflash phone with all firmware parts: 1. appsw, 2. fsp, 3. cdf. Battery must be fully charged to flash your phone.

Try search for them on the internet. Or use Xperia firmware downloader.

That is not true. You are getting a bunch of .sin files. Read s1tool tutorials and make proper .zip files.

Disable all firewalls, antiviruses, use good internet connection - that file is 100% ok. You must find testpoint by yourself, if phone is not detected as qhusb_dload device.

Hi i have a xperia z c6602 that is dead.only action my phone shows is the red led when charging.i used flash tool and .ftf files but my phone dont show any reaction.none of its keys work.lastnight i see this post about Test Point and tried it with S1tools....but it seems my phone is dead really!!!can anyone tell me what shall i do?my pc dont detects or recognizes my phone and seems my phone has not fastboot or flashmode
Thank you

That's what i'm talking about. You can't fix damaged hardware with software. Disassembly your phone, wash your main board in 95% alcohol or isopropanol for 12 hours, dry it properly in dry place for the next 12 hours and pray. If that will not help, buy new phone. Most likely you will have to replace lcd, i don't know how serious was water damage so i can't help you more. If water damage was serious, batery may need to be replaced too, but you will se after repair process will be completed.

Why? At least try to fix it. ;Just clean the main board with 95% alcohol / isopropanol, dry it and try to power on.
