Hello,

I have a Xperia SX with Android 4.0.3 and I wanted to upgrade to 4.1.2 but unfortunately I flashed wrong model and now it becomes a hard brick.

I don't have TA partition backup and it blinks read LED when plugging in USB without battery.

I found its testpoint and GND:

I tried S1Tool but I can't flash boot.sin downloaded with XperiaFirm with ERROR [ 0x0508:_sin_header_verification, err: 000A ] and ERROR [ S1_TA_Close,limited, err: 0010 ]

What can I do next?

Buy new phone or visit good service centre, maybe they will help you with EMMC tool. The problem is Xperia SX is very rare phone so it will be very hard to get boot partition dump from working phone. S1tool does not support Xperia SX at all.

Visit service centre which has emmc tool. They will desolder your emmc, read boot sector, write it back to your bricked device and after that phone should be able to be flashed again using proper firmware.
