In may 2014 Sony has announced Sony Xperia ZL2 for au-KDDi in Japan. This month Sony has released a new version of this smartphone especially for Taiwan market. It's called a Sony Xperia Z2a D6563 and has a very similar specification.

So it has a smaller flash memory (only 16 GB) and worse front facing camera (only 0,3 MPx, VGA resolution). But it support Taiwan?s full-band 4G LTE (700MHz, 900MHz, 1800MHz) network.
Sony Xpera Z2a D6563 is available in Taiwan only in 3 colors: black, white and turquoise and the price is NT$ 18,900 (?369, ?464, $632).
