I have a ZL. When I connect it to my PC it makes the sound as a USB has been connected, but nothing is showed up. And than, after a few seconds it makes a sound like USB has been removed.

And it keeps like that for as long as it's connected.

What does this mean?

Phone is working or dead?

Dead. The red led light up when I plug to PC or try to power up directly from outlets, but nothing else happens

How did you bricked your phone? Read first post in this thread, disassembly your phone and try to flash it using testpoint with all firmware parts:

1. APPSW,

2. FSP,

3. ELABEL.

Dear Jurij,

Have you any advice on following situation:

SONY Xperia ZL C6503 did not react as described by you in the beginning of the blog.

I run the steps from 1 to 8. Seems went through well, see log file.

21.02.2017 17:05:15 PROCEDURE STOPPED BY USER

==============

When I attach it afterwards for repair by SONY Companion, it will be only detected, when the battery is unplugged. The Companion software works a while and shows successful repair. But when after installing the mainboard into device, no reaction to buttons nor LED, etc.. Repeating the whole procedure shows same results.

I tried to install the stock ROM by using FlashTool64. Same effect. It recognizes the mainboard only if the battery is unplugged, same like in SONY Companion. In FlashTool in Fastboot mode when I try to reboot device into the system, then for short time the screen goes on up to SONY Logo along with red LED. But then it is dead again without reaction at all.

I tried different batteries. It is not issue of them, because other ZL board work fine with them.

Do you think it is an irreparable hardware problem?

Thanks for opinion in advance.

Ildar
