You can try that. But good metal paperclip is enough.

And where is that testpoint photo for us? ;)

New version of s1tool is available:  Attached File  s1tool 6II2015.exe   3.12MB   3499 downloads - added support for Sony Xperia Z1 C6903 prototypes, however you can try to fix your bricked Xperia SP phones - maybe it will work for you.

It does not matter. If your phone is bricked, you can try to fix it. But you did not wrote what happened to your phone, so it's hard to say if it help. Try and find out :)

You are not following tutorial steps. After you will flash boot file you must flash all Sony Xperia SP firmware files in exact order:

1. APPSW,

2. FSP,

3. ELABEL.

Then your phone will be fixed.

Boot file must be unpacked from rar archive before flash, firmware files you can download from internet. Or use PC Companion for firmware update.

APPSW contains:

  • update.xml,
  • partition-image,
  • kernel,
  • fota-kernel,
  • cache,
  • apps-log

FSP contains:

  • userdata,
  • system,
  • amss-fsg,
  • amss-fs1,
  • amss-fs2,
  • simlock.ta,
  • cust-reset.ta,
  • update.xml,

ELABEL contains:

  • elabel

If any file is missing - skip it. Just make .zip files (not .rar) and flash them using s1tool as written in this tutorial :)

Remove that device with driver in device manager, scan for new devices and force windows to use Gordon's Gate Flash Driver :)
