@Jurij

thank you for your help but

i'm so sorry, i tried it now about a 100 times and it's allways the same result.

Tool says: "Writing packages..." but nothing happens.

Next step: "Elapsed:35 secs."

It doesn't matter if i attach testpoint or not, even if i keep it attatched, it's every time the same.

I tried different points on mainboard, didn't help.

Device manager shows the phone now as "Zeus Flash Device".

Is there anything else i can do, except recycling?

PS: Maybe it's important: i tried to flash another baseband and then it bricked.

Yes, mine is xperia v lt25i.

I think there is no difference between lt25 and lt25i.

I've installed cyanogenmod carbon 5.1.1

Maybe that's why there's the differences between correct and mine.

If it is so what can I do?

@faflak

I don't know which files you mean.

I downloaded and unzipped the file mentioned by Jurij in point 4 "R11AB029.S1_MSM8960_R3_S1Boot_1264_2289_Live_HWID6B50E1.SOFTWARE.rar".

Thouhgt that was enough.

"5. In S1tool choose S1 EMERGENCY mode, press Flash button, select Sony Xperia V LT25 boot firmware .sin_file_set file"  Is'nt that the same file?

Hello,

Today i will show you how to unbrick your Sony Xperia V LT25 and update boot. Sony Xperia V LT25 smartphone can be bricked because of damaged boot.

If your phone is dead and you have warranty - send your phone to Sony - you will get new phone.

If your phone is dead and you do not have warranty, this tutorial is for you. Remember, during this process you can damage your phone, everything you are doing on your own risk.

Bricked phone symptoms:

  • can't power on after flash,
  • no lcd or led reaction for power button,
  • no lcd or led reaction for charger,
  • no lcd or led reaction if phone is connected to PC,
  • your PC can't detect your phone with vol-,
  • phone does not vibrate when holding vol+ and power together.

Repair steps:

1. Firstly connect turned off bricked phone to your PC. If phone will be detected in device manager as:

qhusb_dload device

you are lucky and this is the end of the first step for you. Just disconnect phone.

If your phone can't be detected at all, you must find testpoint. Disassemble your phone using this service manual: http://sony.yt/topic...kcja-serwisowa/, remove battery and connect your phone using testpoint.

2. Download and install the latest Gordon's Gate Flash Driver from this post:

3. Download and run this s1tool:

4. Download boot firmware for your Sony Xperia V LT25 (extract it from rar):

5. In S1tool choose S1 EMERGENCY mode, press Flash button, select Sony Xperia V LT25 boot firmware .sin_file_set file,

6. Press Testpoint READY button:

and if your phone is detected as qhusb_dload device, just attach usb cable. If not, connect testpoint to GND and attach USB cable:

7. When drivers will be installed and phone will be detected, program will ask you to disconnect testpoint. Disconnect testpoint from GND and press Testpoint READY button.

8. After that phone will load emergency s1 loader, re-enumerate usb, load s1 loader and flash selected boot firmware.

Welcome to S1 tool.
That is small and crippled subset of SETOOL2 service tool.

9. Flash your phone fully with Sony Update Service, Sony PC Companion or any other flasher like current Flashtool version or this S1tool (S1 FLASH MODE) using all firmware parts (APPSW, FSP).

10. Time to reassembly your phone using service manual: http://sony.yt/topic...kcja-serwisowa/

Now your phone should be fixed :slonko:

Tutorial worked out for Sony.yt forum - copying is prohibited.

Hallo Jurij,

I got all the symptoms for a bricked phone on my device.

So in the end I found your solution here and tried it.

The problem is that it works up to the point "Writing packages..."

But there are no packages written.

Next step is "Elapsed:35 secs."

That's all.
