Hi, 

 

i have an XPERIA Z3 D6603 that i bought from the net, i recently flashed an edited ta.img (i was trying to edit imei because of network block, using hex editor) and the phone go to hard brick, its not detected on flashtool or device manager, when connected to pc or charger the red led indicator start flashing continually, please help me to get it alive and by the way where is located his testpoint?, and how to use it to revive the phone, i want an detailed explanation or tutor because im not familiar with repairing this kind of problems,

 

oh i forget, fortunately i make a original ta backup before editing and flashing

You can't fix that phone. That:

was the most stupid thing you could do to your phone. And for your information - there is no way to change imei in Xperia Z3 / Z3 dual phones.

 

Solutions:

 

• Buy working Xperia Z3 phone with broken lcd and swap main board,
• Sell lcd from your phone for replacement parts and buy a new phone.

No other solutions.

thanks for reply, i have found the test point because when i connected it with the metal sheild the device manager give me QHSUSB_BULK, and flash tool say :

 

ERROR - Drivers need to be installed for connected device.

ERROR - You can find them in the drivers folder of Flashtool.

 

what does it mean and can i find a driver for it QHSUSB_BULK

You need only Gordon's Gate Flash Driver:  ggsetup-3.0.0.7.exe   3.58MB   14085 downloads but as i've said, there is no tool on the world which could repair trim area in Xperia Z3 phone or which support Xperia Z3 phone in S1 EMERGENCY EDL MODE. I also have no information about any jtag tool which support Xperia Z3 so buy working Z3 with broken lcd and swap main board / buy a new phone and think in the future what you are doing

Even if you will find any jtag device, which support Xperia Z3 - after repair phone will be still blacklisted, so you must buy new main board anyway if you want to use it as a phone

can i use board of any variant of Z3 or must use the same as D6603

Check if there are identical (service manual) probably yes, display is identical D6653 D6633 D6603

Do not try to insert Xperia Z3 Dual main board into Xperia Z3 cover - Z3 Dual has extra sim card slot ant will not fit But you can buy Xperia Z3 Dual with broken LCD and swap just LCD.

i know that the dual is the only that cant go with the one-sim Z3, but i was asking about the other mono sim, and guess what? i found them nearly new with just broken lcds at 20% of the original price lol, i'll use the mainboard and make the other pieces as reserve.

Hello people , I have a huge problem , I hope someone of you can help , in fact I have a Sony XPERIA Z3 . Today, after a rather silly procedure attempting to install CM 12 I accidentally wiped the entire partition of the device system and so on.. , and after that device can not even turn on. PC does not recognize the device when you connect it, although I installed all drivers and cell phone is properly installed with these drivers before this accident, also when I connect mobile phone to a PC red LED turnes on for a few seconds after that goes off and then absolutely nothing , I was unable to launch mobile phone in the FlashBoot mode in any tool ...help please

The device is under warranty, if the device can not connect ... is it possible to not connect me with  a problem or will they immediately realize that I deleted phone memory?

You can always say, that phone does not turn on after firmware update or something like that... It's worth to try warranty repair first.
