We have spare main board locked to 3 if all else fails. Can this be unlocked using these programs?

I've moved your question to the new thread as it's not releated to boot update procedure. At the moment only authorized Sony service centre can unlock Sony Xperia Z smartphones or operator via UNCK code if attempt counter is not blocked. No other solutions, and to be honest i would not expect any solutions in nearest future
