S1tool does not support msm8994-based phones at all. We do not have access for s1 emergency loaders for new Sony phones and that will not change in the nearest future. Only authorized Sony service centre can help you or main board swap.

Hey Jurij,

Ive been following your steps and I cant get a SEMC Flash Drive in my device manager.

Could this be related to my OS (Win 10 64 bit) or an issue with the phone itself?

Using a C6903.

Also, when completing the above step is the battery connected or disconnected?

Battery should be disconnected. Read tutorial and follow it step by step.

Ignore this post please

Now you must reflash your phone with all firmware parts in order:

1. APPSW,

2. FSP,

3. ELABEL.

Or you can use PC Companion to update firmware in your phone or any other flash tool.

Where do I download the files you mentioned above? I cant seem to find a link throughout this thread...

Download them from the internet. You can use Xperia Firmware downloader or any other site / hosting with flash files for Sony phones. Don't forget, that using firmwares from the internet from unknown sources can be risky, if firmware is not properly described or contains bad files, you can damage your phone.

Hey Jurij,

So Ive followed the tutorial and came out with this screen:

Please Login or Register to see this Hidden Content

So the process looks like its success, and as you mentioned the bootloader should be functional. Just a note, that my C6903 was still stuck on the boot screen when I turned on and wouldnt load into flash mode.

Anyway, following your advice I went on xda and downloaded a generic Honami firmware ftf file: C6903_14.1.G.1.526_HK_1276-7948

I loaded this in the S1 Tool and flashed again to my C6903 and the following logs came out, which is identical to the original flash that I carried out and I am still stuck at the boot screen. Am I doing something incredibly silly thats easily rectified? I did manage to enter flash mode by disconnecting my battery, holding the volume down and then re-connecting the battery.

Apologies for any frustration caused. Im trying to glean any info from the thread before contacting you.

You are flashing only appsw file. You must flash appsw, fsp and elabel, otherwise phone will not work.

Well Jurij,

Im just writing to say a massive thanks. Have finally managed to get my Xperia back working again, 2.5 years after I bricked it. Didnt think Id actually be successful but here we are.

I would recommend adding a few more steps to the OP regarding the flashing of the firmware, just my advice.

Hi Jurij

I have a z1 C6943 bricked the phone shows only the red led. No have signal of life on the screen.

I have two cuestions....

1 - I do to the 3 step of the tutorial. The computer takes the Z1 like a SEMC device, but i can't put the z1 in emergency mode. How I know the phone is in emergency mode ? I try it disconnect the battery, testpoint connect to the ground and reconnect the battery and press power on button..... but nothing happens..

2 - And the second is.... in the tutorial you put a APPSW firmware for a C6903 model to download. Where i can get the APPSW firmware to the C6943 model ???

Thanks for all

1. If your phone is detected properly, s1tool should detect your phone. Make sure other flashers and service tools are disabled, including pc companion, flashtool etc.

2. From the internet or use Xperia Firmware downloader :)

You must flash all firmware parts in order: 1. appsw, 2. fsp, 3. elabel - otherwise phone will not work. Search internet or use xperia firmware downloader to get all firmware parts. Then if phone does not power on - leave it on charger for a few hours.
