In the second half of June Sony has announced it's largest and the slimmest waterproof smartphone - Sony Xperia Z Ultra. As we expected in this thread: http://sony.yt/topic...ns-screenshots/ , it's a 6,44" full HD smartphone with a stylus support. Xperia Z Ultra, known also as Togari, has one of the most powerful mobile SoC's on the world: quad core 2,2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 MSM8974 with GPU Adreno 330, 2GB RAM, 16 GB ROM, 8 MPx camera and is running Android 4.2 Jelly Bean operating system.

The "ultra" word in the name is not a coincidence. Sony Xperia Z Ultra has ultra large 6,44" lcd touch screen with stylus support and it's ultra slim - only 6.5 mm! That smartphone will be available in 3 colors: black, white and purple:

and will be available in 5 versions as Sony Xperia Z Ultra C6802 or XL39h HSPA+ versions and as C6806, C6833, C6843 LTE versions. HSPA version C6802 since a few days is in sale in a few Asian countries. In Hong Kong Xperia Z Ultra C6802 HSPA+ cost is ?524, ?603, $799, in Malaysia cost is ?468, ?537, $713 and in Vietnam: ?557, ?639, $849. We are still waiting for LTE Sony Xperia Z Ultra version for European and American markets. As far as we know, Xperia Z Ultra LTE should be available in United Kingdon 13th of september and will cost ?599.
