hi, this is my second post about my phone xperia z, i am currently using different phone, so i amost forget that i am having this problems. sony have a good hardware, intuitive interface, i missed my old phone so much, that i am crazily trying to have my phone back. my problem was, i am having different imei as shown in my attachment, than the one on my phone box. previously i have post my problems here "http://sony.yt/topic...from-bootloop/"thanks to jurij, finally i know what was happen in my phone.

the odd thing was my phones new imei seems wrong, so i couldn't use my phone at all. so my questions was, can i flash any firmware so i can have my phone back again? currently i am using unbranded ftf version from xda site, and my phone was running, but it has imei null and no baseband, and when it was locked, i couldn't unlock it without randomly pressing up or down volume button.

but it has imei null and no baseband

Most probably wrong firmware is flashed. Flash correct firmware, for C6603 use C6603 firmware etc.

dear sir, i have flash many different firmwares starting for c6602, and c6603, i still couldn't get my phone working, as per flashing c6603 firmware gives me non ending booting screen, flashing c6602 firmwares, i couldn't use my phone, after booting screen, i get black screen with home and end keys only, after a few minutes, it freezes. all i get from stock firmwares downloaded using xperifirm and flashtool. do you have any idea what was happened to my phone sir?

Your trim area contains imei 355666051021136 and this is Xperia Z C6602. Flash C6602 firmware. If that will not help, try to flash older firmware, like KitKat or Jelly Bean. If different C6602 firmwares will not help, it's hardware problem.

You can try to flash your phone without boot update. Edit your firmware using winrar, inside find file update.xml, open it with notepad++, delete line <boot></boot> , drop it into the winrar window with your firmware, save and flash. Or uncheck on flashtool boot update. Sometimes that trick works for Xperia Z phones :)

Dear jurij, inside ftf folder, i cannot find any file such as update.xml or boot update, but as i can see, there is one folder named boot, and file named boot_delivery.xml. i have tried to open files boot delivery, there is no string <boot></boot>. so i was trying to check the bootdelivery check box in flashtool flash menu, the results was bootloop... i am very confused sir.... is this hardware issue, such as in my xperia zr sometimes ear speaker malfunctioned..  or can i add update.xml file in my ftf files?

Then in options should be possibility to skip flashing the boot. Or delete all boot folder from ftf package.

Flash your phone without updating boot. If that will not help, flash your phone with lower firmware version without updating boot. Try all available firmware versions. If that will not help it must be hardware problem.
