Hello,

Today i will show you a simply method to root your MSM7227 and QSD8250 Sony Ericsson android smartphone. Tutorial is written for:

MSM7227 smartphones: Xperia X8 E15, W8 E16, Xperia X10 mini E10, Xperia X10 mini pro U20,

QSD8250 smartphones: Xperia X10, SO-01B

If you have device listed above, and want to root it:

1. Download SuperOneClick:  SuperOneClickv2.3.3-ShortFuse.zip   10.14MB   15 downloads

2. Enable in your phone USB Debugging (menu => settings => applications => development) and mark Unknown Sources in  menu => settings => applications,

3. Connect USB cable and let Windows to install necessary drivers via Windows Update. If Windows can't install drivers, install PC Companion, when installation is done and all drivers are installed, please turn of PC Companion.

Now you are ready to root your phone.

1. Run SuperOneClick.exe and press Root button. If your phone is turned on and connected, program will do the job:

2. If program will ask you to install BusyBox, accept it.

3. When you will see that screen:

you can make donation for the authors of SuperOneClick or click no and start enjoying your rooted phone

If you want to unroot your phone, repeat procedure but press Unroot instead of Root button or reflash your phone with any suitable firmware.
