My Sony Z3 compact got bricked after flashing firmware using flashtool. The phone won't turn on, no vibration or any sign of life on display, i have tried to hard reset by pressing small yellow button next to the simcard slot but with no luck. When i connect it to PC or charger red led light shows up for 2 sec and then it's gone. When i connect the phone with battery i see this in device manager USB COMPLANT HID - I can't get the phone to boot in fastboot by pressing power+vol up or flashmode by pressing power+vol down, so i am not able to use flashtool, pc companion or emma - the phone is just not detected. When i connect it without battery and without gordons gate driver i see in device manager QHSUSB_BULK, but when i install the gordons gate driver i see SEMC Flash device. So i figured out that i have to flash it using s1tool app in S1 emergengency mode... but when i try to do that with s1tool (version 06.02.2015 ) i got an error HARDWARE ID NOT SUPPORTED.

Is there any way of unbricking my phone, maybe with xFLASHER or some other app that can support my phone ? Please help.

Or i have to buy SEtool box in order to flash the phone with SEtool 2 app ...

Please contact me via private message or skype chat: gen.jurij - i have Setool2 box and i can identify your phone. If it can be identified, i can flash your phone with any suitable version you want for cheap price ;) If phone can't be identified - only authorized Sony service centre (warranty repair) or main board swap may help. S1tool does not support Xperia Z3 / Z3 compact at all.

That phone has damaged boot (thanks to Flashtool) and now you can:

1. Use eMMC direct device and write all sony boot from live phone ( from firmware files, extracted from sin v3 shell ),

2. Desolder eMMC, then use external programmer to write boot and then solder eMMC back to phone,

3. Buy working Xperia Z3 Compact with broken lcd and swap main board,

4. Sell your phone for replacement parts and buy new phone.

No other solutions at the moment :(

How to access "eMMC direct device"? I have all backups including TA. Ubuntu preferable.

Is there a way to write internal eMMC via USB without disassembly?
